Sandra Hill delivers again, Snow on the Bayou was another fantastic addition to the Tante Lulu Cajun Cowboy series! People probably hear it when I pass by. Can she trust that this time the bad boy of the bayou will be the best man for her? Luckily, her studio was only three blocks from the restaurant, which specialized in Italian food, a change from the usual Creole or Cajun dishes famous in New Orleans. MaeMae put up a halting hand. Emelie, the heroine, was his childhood friend and later sweetheart. But she can't deny the red-hot attraction between them.
Time to intervene before they got kicked out. Emelie is now a divorced mask designer well-known everywhere. Not a whole bunch of drama or suspense, just some rehashing of days gone by. Through it all one thing that made this book so easy to love besides Justin and his sexiness, Tante Lulu and all her funniness. Seventeen years later he is a Navy Seal with a college degree.
Snow on the Bayou is the long awaited next book in the series and well worth the wait. I adore Tante Lulu even thou I'm sure her family wishes she wouldn't be quite as colorful. Charmaine suspected that MaeMae had warned Tante Lulu not to interfere. She kissed MaeMae on both cheeks before dropping down beside her. When Emelie makes mention of a no-contact order from his grandmother, instead of immediately going and uncovering what she's talking about. Oh, and there's a terrorist threat too! In this book we see hints of the characters from her previous books and just by their brief descriptions, I need to know their story. I consumed this story in one sitting and hated to see it end.
Folks thought that because she was old she had one foot in the grave. Remember that guy with the mustache who pulled you up onta the stage ta dirty dance with him? She is the head of this group of people, maybe not by blood but my love. I was surprised to know that this is the ninth book in the series. I been sick, not dead. Richard was a hottie, no matter what anyone said. Her stomach growled again, this time in anticipation.
Although his was in love with Emelie, he left her without a goodbye, thanks to her father. This biography was provided by the author or their representative. Once a week, on Saturday night, she had a gig as a blues singer, something she did just for fun, certainly not for the money or fame. It was hard to know for sure exactly how old the dear old bat was since she kept changing her birth date, and the original records had mysteriously disappeared from the parish courthouse. It was satisfying to watch them work it out.

Especially as a young girl, definitive curves were not the ideal.
It's about more than redemption or family or love or death. Terrorists would love to get a bead on one of these superheroes. I really liked the fact that he took control of her and health and showed his love for her and his home in such a caring way. I recommend this and all of Sandra's other Cajun Cowboys books, to any contemporary romance fan in the m Sandra Hill delivers again, Snow on the Bayou was another fantastic addition to the Tante Lulu Cajun Cowboy series! It was great to see MacLean and some of characters like Teejohn, and Charmaine, from previous books making an appearance in this one. .
The thoughts of the main characters are written in an inconsistantly jarring and choppy manner. She's one of those characters that you just wish you could meet in person. Tante Lulu believes in St. Now Emelie was a little hard to really like but she has her reasons why. The secondary characters in this story are an absolute delight. Writing about serious issues taught her the merits of seeking the lighter side of even the darkest stories. Emelie wad broken hearted and finally recovering from a divorce.
The resemblance had been a bane, rather than a blessing over the years. In fact, New Orleans was now the number one market in the United States for formal wear, including floor length evening gowns. Ostensibly Cajun metaphors and mannerisms feel inauthentic and forced, almost to the point of mockery. We do not store files, because it is prohibited. Emily Gaudet has made a life in New Orleans. That raised some red flags. Tanta Lulu is a true breathe of fresh air and she made me laugh so hard I had to put the book down for just a moment.
