There are tons that I want to try and this might be a cookbook I end up buying. Mostly the 3 star rating comes from my attempts to cook various recipes this month. While I didn't find much new here. Imagine having a single searchable index of all your recipes — both digital and print! Readers will learn vital lessons, including: how to eat a watermelon in a sundress; how to drink like a Southern lady sip. I have dozens of cookbooks related to Southern cooking, but I keep finding myself flipping through the pages of this one. Born, raised and still loving the South, I enjoyed the recipes and some of the gentrification of them.
This is a foodie cookbook. If you are Southern or love Southern food - this is the cookbook for you! For the most part, the recipes are complicated with several steps. I read it cover-to-cover who does that with a cookbook??? The food photography is beautiful. No harm in that, of course, as long as this delivers the goods. From the Trade Paperback edition.
