Bliss knows she has a duty to her people to use her power to warn them of danger. The characters were good, Trey and Bliss were likable characters. In the eyes of my people, we are husband and wife. Her lovely pale blue eyes, which only moments before had sparkled, appeared shadowed with concern. Her visions didn't show her that she would end up married to one of them! Perhaps this tug he felt to protect her was nothing more than indebtedness for what she had done for him though she did intrigue him. Apprehension fluttered her stomach, but she remained confident that all would be well. Trey MacAlpin can scarcely believe he has agreed to wed a stranger.
A tingle of anticipation ran through her, and without warning, as was the way of it, a sense of knowing struck her like a mighty blow. Trey MacAlpin can scarcely believe he has agreed to wed a stranger. But at the moment she needed to wait, for she sensed these soldiers were not why fate had her linger. And he could sort this strange situation out for himself. The series is well written, keeping the readers wrapped in the stories and antics of four brothers and their wives.
That angel now claimed that he was her husband. Her powers foretold that her life would intertwine with the four men who protect the identity of the true king—but she never thought it would be like this! Bliss hugged her dark blue wool cloak more closely around her. She often wondered why she could see the providence of others and yet when it came to her destiny, she was blind. I was right about the McAlpine Bros mum though,, knew she knew far more than anyone guessed! But desperate for protection from the false king's soldiers, she claims the Highlander as her mate. Wed to a Highland Warrior is the magnificent finale to her breathtaking Warrior King series.
Thank you, have read 4 times! Even knowing the destiny of others brought a burden that, at times, Bliss would much rather not carry though she had no choice. She wanted honesty and trust from the man who would be her husband, or she would remain alone. Then I figured I knew and was not happy about it. It has been prophesied that four men, raised as brothers, will bring Scotland back to her rightful glory. Woudlnt stop me recommending this series though! True joy to read, kept me wanting to read all in one sitting! Though there was a force about this particular one that caused her to shudder.
After all, it was a burdensome lot to unwillingly peer into the future and see not just happiness but pain and sorrow. But it is with her characters that she has the most fun. Anyway some people are probably happy with the choice just not me. I like how well Bliss and Trey connected. Someday, she hoped to find a man who would look past her features and see her true worth.
Now the final brother is ready to take his place in history. This gift, as her people, the Picts called it, or curse as others often referred to it in whispers, had been part of her as long as she could remember. But this beautiful lass knows the secret he and his brothers are sworn to keep, making her both valuable. At the moment, though, her instincts warned her that this was where she must stop and wait. From the being I had two brother whom I was guessing could be the king. I truly do like how you combined all 4 stories, the intermingling, blending of characters.
Part of the fun in writing, Donna Fletcher admits, is doing the research. The rating, review, and all opinions are my own. That is why it is so important to choose carefully the words you speak, for often they cannot be rescinded. She tugged at his hand when he went to walk, forcing him to stay put. Certainly, if she saw that for herself, life could possibly become unbearable. From how palpable his strength, he was no doubt a warrior.
Why, she did not know. Even knowing the destiny of others brought a burden that, at times, Bliss would much rather not carry though she had no choice. Tall and slim, with long hair that shimmered as if spun with gold. Chapter 1 Highlands of Scotland, 1005 Bliss waited, not sure of her fate. Trey thought he was safe from that trap - until he finds himself accidentally married to Bliss, a woman whose power isn't only over his heart. Respected for her abilities by her people, she also found it a deterrent to finding a mate. Her powers foretold that her life would intertwine with the four men who protect the identity of the true king--but she never thought it would be like this! She truly had no time to dally.
Historical romance readers love the Scottish Highlands—and no author captures its magic better than Donna Fletcher. The crunch of leaves alerted her to heavy footfalls, and it was easy to tell that more than one person approached. This was the man she was meant to meet, and why fate had her wait. Still, it was difficult to believe, and yet she knew without a doubt that fate had her wait here—she took a deep breath, not sure if she was ready—to meet her future husband. Three small words can bring tremendous happiness—or great pain. At times it made sense to her.
Trey has hardened his heart against love until one lady heals his lonely soul. He was a formidable figure: tall, his shoulders broad, his body lean, his eyes intense, his long auburn hair blown wild by the irate wind, and his long, slim fingers resting heavily on the hilt of his sword. A sudden ill wind blew around them scooping up leaves and twigs and swirling them in the air before carrying them off on a rush of wind. Normally she would detect their presence much sooner giving her time to flee to safety. Trey MacAlpin can scarcely believe he has agreed to wed a stranger. And he needed time to consider this. I have enjoyed them all and will continue to re-read them many times.
